Sharon Peter

Sharon A. Peter is a member of the Crow Clan and a Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation member. 

A graduate of the Yukon Native Teacher Program at Yukon College, Sharon was elected as Crow Clan Councillor and Deputy Chief of the Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation (1996-2004) and held the portfolio of Education and Heritage. From 2004 to 2007, she worked as the Implementation Coordinator for the Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation and in November 2007, was elected Deputy Chief.  Sharon resides in Mayo.
