J.W. (Bill) Pringle was born in South Boston, Massachusetts and spent his formative years in rural Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Bill retired from the R.C.M.P. in 1983, after serving 31 years, 27 of them in the Yukon, Northwest Territories and what is now Nunavut.
Bill has served on many Yukon boards and organizations over the years and continues to serve his community, Yukon and Canada. He has a long standing interest in heritage and the history of the North and the people who live here.
Bill resides in Carcross with his wife Linda, a retired Northern Nurse Practitioner.
